The Temple, The Red Heifer, and Wings of the Eagle

We all know end times prophecies all center on Israel, and in particular Jerusalem. No doubt the one of the biggest events will be the rebuilding of the Temple.  It has been reported that The Temple Institute, in Israel, has everything ready to rebuild the Temple as soon as they get permission to do so. The Israeli government is currently investing in trains as well as other infrastructure to accommodate literally millions of expected visitors when this happens.

According to Jewish law everyone of Jewish faith must visit the temple at various times throughout the year. This creates a problem as also according to Jewish law everyone is unclean. In order to purify the new Temple and the people a ritual must be performed using the ashes of a purely red, red heifer. This cow cannot have any spot or blemish and must not have ever had a ‘yoke placed upon her’ currently an intensive search for this Red Heifer is underway. A few have been discovered already but for one reason or another they were rejected. Since it is believed that only nine have ever existed in Jewish history, and with the increasing frequency of red heifers, one will be discovered soon, that will meet all the requirements.

With peace negotiations taking place,  it may be only a matter of time. It has been suggested that an arraignment could be established for the placement of the new Temple on the Temple Mount while letting both the AlAnska Mosque, as well as The Dome of the Rock remain.

Also interesting is the return of Jacobs sheep, who have not Been in Israel in two thousand years.   The wool from these sheep is needed for the garments the temple Priests must wear.

While it didn’t receive much, if any, coverage, it was announced this week that The US and Israel will be will be opening the first US airbase on Israeli soil. The base will be called Bislach Air Base, and will be home to soldiers operating a missile defense system. With tensions increasing between Israel and its neighboring nations no doubt the US military will increase its presence there.

I study a lot of End Times Teacher’s but what I find most interesting is this lends credibility to End Times Ministries and Irvin Baxter’s Teaching on Daniel Chapter 7 as well as Revelation Chapter 12.

Daniel Chapter 7 verses 3 to 8

And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.  The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Irvin Baxter teaches that the nations which exist at the times of the Lord’s return are listed in Daniel Chapter 7 and are symbolized by the Beasts Daniel saw.

To summarize his views on this prophecy, he asserts the lion is the UK, and the eagle’s wings which break off is the US. These two biblical symbols just happen to also be the same animals both nations use to symbolize them today.

The Bear he states are Russia which is often described as a bear today.

The leopard with 4 heads is Germany, and each head symbolizes a German Reich, the 4^th Reich is currently rising. The fowl is France, which is symbolized by a rooster today.

The ten horned beast is the European Union

Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. Revelation 12:6 NASB

But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Revelation 12:14 NASB

 

In Revelation Twelve we see these same nations. They all are under control of the antichrist and waging war against Israel except for one, the eagle. The eagle (United States) is helping Israel militarily.

Interesting interpretation of this prophecy, and of all the end times teachers out there Irvin Baxter is one to watch, his views seem to be the way end times events are taking place.
